I cannot put into words how good this book was. I was introduced to Bri and Trey in the Secrets and Lies series. The author did such a great job of articulating the characters and their emotions that I felt what these characters were feeling and found myself rooting for them all through the book. This book drew me in and I lost a lot of sleep finishing it because I couldn't put it down.


This is the first book by this author that I have read. I loved reading and following Trey and Bri's story. Reading how two people from different backgrounds can find love and overcome adversity to be together. I look forward to reading more of this series.
