I have to say, the more of this series I read, the more I really like the characters and their interactions. The fact that most of these characters grew up together and know each other inside and out adds depth and substance to the stories.
Louis and Calloway definitely have obstacles to overcome, but every second chance romance does. I like how the story transitions between their personal history, their common friendships, work and family ties. Everyone else sees what they're both too stubborn to acknowledge, but like her other stories, there's suspense, conflict and drama not to mention LLV knows how to bring the heat! This is definitely a must read series for me.
