My first from this author, I liked the story. A bit of a twist from the standard Mafia tales I've read, but it was good. I liked that it centered around the rejected son. The past that they don't discuss, the future he doesn't think he wants, the light he thought he lost. Romeo is so much more that he gives himself credit for. There was only ever one person that saw more in him. Luna has a tragic story of her own. What happens when these two happen upon each other 15 years later? 2 Sunflowers turning to each other in darkness to find their light. ~Shirley
Beautiful Thief is the second book in the Omertร Law series. It is also the first book in the series that I have read. I loved reading and following Romeo and Luna's story. It is darker book than what I am used to, but still had a hard time putting it down. I will definitely be going back to read book one. ~Dawn
