My first from this author and she had me from the get go. Blood spilled, violence, power plays, discord, war... All the things we LOVE in a Mafia story, but this goes up a notch or two when you add in Emilia, the fortress she built around herself, the sass and fire that makes Gio stand up and take notice. Gio and how he dissects every little glimpse Emilia shows, the self control and honor that keeps him from taking what he could and the fierce protector that he is to those closest to him.
I need to know where they go from here!
