This is the second book in the Drunk Love series and even though it does read as a stand-alone there is a strong build up in the first book for Emily and Evan that you’d be doing yourself a disservice by not reading it as well.
So after reading book one I was eager to get my hands on this story as I was beyond eager to find out how their romance would play out. Needless to say I wasn’t disappointed. At all.
There is some drama in this story but nothing was unnecessary, there was true emotions from every character that made reading this so much more realistic. Though Dexter was over the top at times, wouldn’t every sister want a brother looking out for her? Sure he could have reigned it in but he proceeded to put his hand up when called out about his actions.
I am absolutely loving this series and hopefully don’t have to wait too long for the next book to be released. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.
