I loved Jack and Ellie.
When Ellie, an investigative journalist decides her next story is going to be about her brothers financial company and the equality inside of it's doors, she gets a little more than she bargained for.
Ellie has to dress up as a man and infiltrate the company and see just how unjust the difference is between men and women. Jack, her brothers best friend and the co-owner of the company is on board to help her. Not only because he cares about his company and employees and wants them all to be treated equally and fair, but because he gets to spend more time with Ellie whom he's had a crush on for years.
I cracked up during parts of this book. Just imagining Jack kissing Ellie while she still has on her Tom Selleck-esque mustache had me laughing so hard. There was something about this though that kept me from being 100% satisfied. I'm not sure what it was, I can't exactly put my finger on it, but I just couldn't....LOVE this book. I do really like it, and it's a great book, I just felt incomplete reading it.
I'd still recommend this book to everyone though! ~Amber

This was more than what I was expecting . And I loved how the best friend of the older brother/love interest didn't fight it..he went after what he wanted. It made the story that much more enjoyable to me. ~Jen
Like a Boss was a quick, sexy, rom-com.
Lili Valentine has been a favorite author of mine for a while now and she didn't disappoint me with this book. This was my first Sylvia Pierce novel and I will definitely be checking into one of books. Jack and Ellie had off the charts chemistry! I adored both of them! I loved that this wasn't your typical story line.
I was able to read this book in one setting.
Good read!!
