After finishing The Second We Met I have been chomping at the bit to get my hands on Jules & Berk’s book. And lordy was it everything I was hoping it would be.
I adored Jules. Usually I am not a fan of BBW characters, not because I think it’s icky or anything because I myself am always struggling with my own weight. I just think I don’t really need to know that about a character. But after Jules I think I might be just a little bit converted. She had her ups and downs but learned to love herself and that was absolutely beautiful to read.
Berk’s story totally broke my heart. But I think I would be the loudest person cheering for him as he evolved throughout the book.
Exceptionally written as always and I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book.

Maya Hughes can often be found sneaking in another chapter while hiding in the bathroom from her kids! :-) I’m a romance writer who loves taking inspiration from everyday life, namely my husband and biggest fan.
