This story has so many layers of feels. The sparring and tension between Billy and Roxie is tangible. You feel the Billy's venerability as he comes to terms of being Sadie's father. Roxie, as her life is becoming upended again. Sadie acclimating and coming to terms of her mothers' death and a newly discovered father. The story draws you in, I didn't want to put it down.
Let me just say, I thought I fell in love with Giant, but brother Billy completely stole my heart. With his broken heart and they way he just seemed to get in his own, I couldn't help but just melt for this man! Roxanne, I can whole-heartedly relate to with the insecurities and the smart retorts to protect herself and her feelings. Add in a secret child, this book just gives me a little bit of all the emotions and I am just totally in love with this series!! I cannot wait for Silver Mayor.
