Sports romance is my go to genre and I try to get my hands on as many as possible. So it was a no brainer selecting this book to read. I have to admit Lila did my head in for the majority of the book. The only saving grace for her is that she knew that she was over thinking just about everything and sometimes tried to reign herself in.
Hollis was my favorite character in this book. He was a real gentleman but knew that he wanted Lila and chased her right from the start.
Super romantic with plenty of ups and downs to keep me second guessing what was going to happen next. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book. ~Sharon
Hollis, I loved. He tried and tried and tried and I just loved him for it. And to top it all off he wasn't the typical "jock" which made me love him more. Lila! OMG I had moments of just wanting to cause her bodily harm because she just wouldn't stop thinking...always thinking. But I am so glad after all that thinking she FINALLY came to the correct conclusion. ~Jen
