There are heart wrenching moments, but there were funny moments. Brook McBride has a way with her words that make them stick with you. Take a chance with this story; you won't be sorry. ~Andrea

This is my first read by Brooke McBride and I have to say that this is one of the most powerful, emotional books I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Colt and Lin go through an unbelievable journey. Their story is real. Real in the sense that their story could be anyone’s. Yourself...your family...your neighbor. Carry Me Through does not only tug at your heartstrings, it rips those strings out and shreds them. But this book is soooo worth the ugly cry, the sobbing, and endless supply of tissues because the emotional journey of these characters will stay with you for a very long time. They say that everything in life happens for a reason. Lin was Colt’s reason. And he was hers. 10+ ⭐️ ~Carole
