I was on pins and needles waiting for the second book in Laurelin Page’s Man In Charge duet, Man In Love, and it did not disappoint.
Scott and Tess’s story delivered on the heat, romance and finally their HEA. As soon as their book hit my kindle I dove right in. I desperately needed to find out what happened with them, I was able to devour their story in one sitting. The love that Scott has for Tessa finally gets him to stand up for himself, his grandfather is the one that finally gets him to go for what he wants and not what’s expected of him.
I highly recommend their story to all of us romance lovers out there.

Man in Love picks up right where Man in Charge leaves off. Scott finds himself blindsided and in a catch 22, while Tessa is caught up in the whirlwind that is Scott Sebastian, even though her intuition keeps niggling at her.
I literally felt my heart in my throat, anxious about what was unfolding on the pages in front of me, I was that invested in these characters. The story is big on family, some that is looking out for you, some that is not, some that try to manipulate you, some that have your back. They aren't always the ones you would think. Sometimes the way to being happy require sacrifice. Sometimes words just aren't enough, actions speak volumes. Will they figure it out before it's too late or will too much water have gone under that bridge?
