He’s the recently divorced veteran player and she’s the teammate’s “little sister” who comes to his rescue.
Ross Davies, ace pitcher for the New Orleans Revelers, needs help putting his life back in order before he throws away everything he’s worked so hard for.
Casey Carradine has a knack for managing people’s lives. When she agrees to step up to the plate and help Ross dig his way out of the debris of his failed marriage, it shouldn’t be a hard task. After all, she’s run her rockstar sister’s life for years.
But things get heated and lines get crossed.
And neither of them expect the curveball that’s thrown their way.

This is my first book by this duo and I loved every single word.
The storyline to Ross and Casey’s story had me enthralled right from the start. They weren’t strangers to each other and Casey had a mini crush on him for a while but as Ross was only recently divorced it wasn’t something that she could ever act on. Everything in this book just flowed seamlessly. To them becoming more involved in each other’s lives, to their pleasant surprise and even the conflict side was everything I love to read in my romance novels.
I know I will definitely be keeping my eye out for future books from this pair. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.
