The second in the series and can be read as a stand alone, but if possible, I'd read Royal Line first. It just gives you more insight and backstory to the key players.
To say that Breck and Sparrow like to push each other's buttons is an understatement. Of course there is buried attraction, and it's fun to watch them pick at the other. Their snark is entertaining. There is so much more to Breck than anyone gives him credit for and I found myself rooting for him. Sparrow is in charge for the first time, while Kannon and London are on vacation, and feels like she has so much to prove. With everything going on, her focus is split for the first time. Will the missions go off without a hitch or should she listen to the niggling at the back of her mind?
The mind games, suspense and action add to the relationships between the characters and make this a series I enjoy and look forward to the next story.

Carrie Ann Ryan and Nana Malone did it again and wrote another great Waterford Family story. Sparrow and Breck are so perfect for each other they run each other the wrong way. A fast read with all the snark and intrigue you expect from these authors. I laughed and was thoroughly entertained. Cannot wait for more.
