For a debut novel Alexandria Goncalves has done an excellent job. I loved how alpha Auston was and how it appeared Victoria was not one of his favorite people. So without giving the whole storyline away, that definitely wasn’t the case.
I enjoyed how these two worked together as a couple, and especially without any unnecessary drama between the pair. Victoria has some insecurities and Auston never once made her feel lesser for them. What he did do was give her another perspective to see from.
The conflict at the end of book totally blindsided me. Not how I thought this story would play out but it was gripping to read and I honestly didn’t know how it was going to conclude. Loved the epilogue, I thought it finished the book off beautifully. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.
