Blog Review ~ My Mind's Eye • Gillian Jones

I don't know why I waited so long to read this book! I gave it 4 stars. I enjoyed reading the way that Kat and Ryker worked their way to being together. This isn't a rushed romance even though they both are attracted to each other from the beginning. Kat obviously had some hesitation since Ryker was known for being a ladies man but she enjoyed her few run-ins with him not to be tempted. Heck if I had those few run-ins with Ryker I'd be tempted to! I mean the man growls in the best way possible!!!

When starting this book I started my normal process of taking notes but by chapter 5 I forgot all about doing that and just kept swiping my screen to find out when these two would smarten up and get together. This is your normal romance story which makes you feel good and leaves you smiling at the end. I loved the friendship between Kat and Claire; reminded me of my own best friend and how we are complete opposites but always there for each other. 

Even though I called this a normal romance it's definitely worth the time to read! The characters are well written and you feel like you are apart of the storyline. I'll be checking out book 2 in this series for sure.
