"This is my first book by Kim Loraine so I wasn’t up to speed on the Ryker/Wilde family feud. But at no time did I feel like I was missing anything major so I can definitely say that this book reads as a stand-alone.
Sutton would have to be one of the swooniest hero’s I have read in some time. All the right words came out of his mouth and not once did it come across as anything but genuine. As he expresses his feelings for Sera as their story goes on he also tries his best to show them to her.
I love me a good ole small town romance and I will definitely be reading the next books in this series.

This is the first book in Kim Loraine's cowboy serials and I could not have been any more entertained. I now recognize that I HAVE to go back and catch up with the Rykers. Having said that, I was in no way hampered by not knowing the characters already. From Sutton's first 'darlin' to Sera's spitting fire I was in love with this couple. The sparks burned high, the flirting was 'on point" and I have found a new world to spend my time. This Romeo and Juliet-esqe rival story set in modern day Montana was the escape read that I needed. I mean, who doesn't love a hunky cowboy! ~Cindy
