Wow, that is my first Bella J story and I am not disappointed. This is a story is emotional and dark. For Elijah, it's a job. Charlotte lives her life in the dark even only choosing to play her cello for herself. Music speaks to all souls, and Charlotte's melodies calm Elijah as her body draws him closer. This story unfolds stanza-to-stanza as we readers are invited to slowly see the motivations of the musician and the backstories. Charlotte is a valuable pawn caught in a cyclone not of her making. As we watch Charlotte and Elijah fall in love, another play changes to board. This story does end on a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to see how it all turns out.
