Best friends little sister is a trope I try to read as often as I can. Kim’s version was truly a wonderful read. Luke & Mackenzie have been friends since they were little. But life happens, they grow up and go in different directions. Their coming back into each other’s lives was a storyline I have read before but it was still great to have this authors take on it. They started out at full speed but both decided to reign it back in. This was the part of the story I enjoyed the most. Where they made this pact to be just friends but couldn’t stay away from each other. It honestly felt like I was flipping the pages at breakneck speed because I just needed to know how the story would play out. Was definitely not disappointed at all. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.
