I have read a few books by Laura before and when I heard she was writing a brand new series I knew I wanted to read it.
I am on a massive small town romance binge at the moment so even if Laura wasn’t the author I would have wanted to read this book anyway. But luckily for me she just so happened to have written such a great first book that has left me eager to get my hands on the subsequent stories as soon as they are released.
Niko & Vivi’s story covers a couple of tropes that I love. I really enjoyed that there wasn’t too much conflict between the pair - but there is a fair amount of conflict within the story. That’s all I will say about that because if I reveal much more I know I will give away a major plot point - and this does play a big part in the whole storyline and the reader just needs to go in blind and experience it for themselves.
I cannot wait until June to read Everly’s story. The snippets about her throughout this book has definitely intrigued me. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book
