Finally I get my hands on Smith's book. He has appeared just enough in the previous books to pique my interest, but I could never have guessed that this book would end up being as great as it actually is.
The whole forbidden part with Emelia was like icing on the cake to me. They know they shouldn't cross that line as they work together and it is frowned upon, but once she is tasked with doing a social media profile on Smith, their feelings came to the forefront & couldn't be denied.
And as much as I loved this romance story, it is also all the teammates that make this series an absolute standout. I try to read as many hockey romance stories as I can get my hands on but the Carolina Comets are definitely something special.

I’ve been loving this series and this book is no different. I felt every emotion that poured out of the pages from Owen and Emilia.
Their chemistry is push and pull and BAM!
I had a love/hate relationship with the “we can’t do this” because though I know it holds it’s place in the story and relationship between Smith and Emilia I hated the way it made them feel.
