Heart & Thorns is one of my favorite reads of 2019 (I received an arc). It consumed me in the best ways. I wanted to strangle Jackson a lot, but he redeemed himself. Poor Willa is put through the ringer in this book, but she's strong.
This book starts out with flashbacks of Jackson and Willa growing up together. Willa was Jackson's person and vice versa. Their love was sweet and something you only see once in a lifetime. However, they were step siblings and their parents just didn't understand it. They forced a wedge between them and everything went wrong. The emotional rollercoaster this book takes you on is so worth it. The secrets, the lies, the misunderstandings, the love, the passion, the redemption. Ugh, so good. I loved this book and took every free second I could to read it. I highly recommend it!!
