We've watched the back and forth, the banter, the verbal sparring between Liam and Maddie since the day they showed up again in each other's lives. Liam is very alpha and Maddie is independent and fiery. They know how to push each others buttons like nobody else does and as entertaining as it is to watch at times, there are other times that you just feel the sense of dread at what you can feel is about to happen.
This can be read as a stand alone, but you get a much fuller picture that adds to the angst if you've read the others in the series. As much as I'm cheering for Liam and Maddie to finally find their way together, theirs is a story that is filled with angst, heartache, obstacles, secrets, snarky banter and yes, even plenty of heat. I can't wait for the conclusion to their story.

Wow, that is where I want to start! This book was all I needed and so much more. This is the first book in Liam and Maddie's duet and it can get no better. I love a great slow-burn and this one was just perfect!! I think you should probably start at the beginning of this series instead of jumping right into Liam and Maddie. We get to know a little about them from the rest of the series. This book was the perfect amount of angst, passion, and suspense that just kept me turning pages. I cannot wait to get my grubby paws on more!
