"Well this appears to be my first book by this author and it was an absolute breath of fresh air. I am honestly addicted to sports romance novels and I try to get my hands on as many as possible. This leads to discovering new to me authors and CW has now added themself to my ever growing list of one click authors.
What was a standout to me in this book was the push and pull between Conor and Harlow. They try to hate each other and both think there is a perfectly good reason to feel this way. But honestly the banter between these two was some of the best I have ever read. There is also some great minor characters that I so hope end up with their own stories down the track because I would definitely be adding them to my ever growing TBR list. I cannot believe that I have not read this author before. She had such a way with words. I was sucked in right from the start and lately that has been really hard for me to do. But this book took me into the pages. Connor and Harlow once realizing that they just might like each other after all had me laughing and cheering them both on when they came to that conclusion.
