I do believe that Choose Me will go down as my favorite RC Boldt book ever!!! I was wrapped in from the first page. I loved being able to watch Hollis and Magnolia grow from kids to adults. I love the friendship the 2 share. They are totally different as in their ways of home life but are able to connect despite that. Choose Me is an All The Feels kind of book and I love it!!!



If I could give this book more than five stars I would in a heartbeat! Magnolia and Hollis become friends at a young age and grow up side by side. Neither child's mother approves of the friendship and poor Hollis is told from youth, he is not and never will be good enough for Magnolia. These two go through everything together, until a sudden tragedy has them crossing that line of friendship into lovers. This is such a moving, second chance/friend to lovers romance that will have you biting your nails, grabbing tissues and maybe throwing out a few choice words. I could not put this book down until I got to the last page.
