This was my first book by J Haney and I thought it was very well written. What I enjoyed most about this book was that the two MC come across as very real. They are both extremely flawed people with ups and downs going on in their lives. For Aria it is her little girl and her ex husband. For Shane it is his past and his autistic son.
At times there seemed to be too much going on in the story, but every character played their part and every scene added to the story to make it such a great read. After finishing this book, I was left wanting more. In this case with the hope that some is not all these characters end up with their own book in the future.
