The Modern Gentleman would hands down be Meghan Quinn's funniest book yet. My, how I laughed. Sometimes at inopportune moments - Public Service Announcement - do NOT read this book at work. I had to try and hide my outburst of laughter to a suspect coughing fit. I was worried I would be sent home from work & put in isolation!!
Now it did take me a while to warm up to June. She was a little too quirky for my usual tastes. And it wasn't really until the book was in her POV that made me change my mind. Seeing it from her perspective gave me new understanding of her. Wes himself was beyond adorkable. He comes across at first as this super macho mans man, but underneath his polished exterior is just a simple man with an absolute gem of a heart.
Fingers crossed that Roman & Caden both end up with books as well as these two added so much to the storyline. I sense from a small snippet that maybe Roman's sister might come in to play at some point??? Here's hoping!!
