Burned by Suzanne Winslow is book 1 in the Smoke & Fire series. It is a clean, fast paced love story. Almost a little too fast paced. At times I felt there wasn’t enough detail, while other times there was just too much of what I call “filler.” This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I’m unsure if I will read the next book in the series. The writing and the characters felt juvenile at times. 3.5 star read in my opinion.
