I seem to not be able to get enough of the grumpy/sunshine trope at the moment. And this authors version was an excellent read.
Right from their first meeting, Ravina was in total lust with Gabriel. But as soon as he opened his mouth and was extremely rude to her, and kept on being rude every time they crossed paths, she was undecided whether to either walk away or keep pushing for more, and I honestly don’t blame her for that at all!!
It was great to read Gabriel eventually offer the proverbial olive branch to Ravina, and this was when the story really took off for me. There are plenty of ups and downs, fists thrown and numerous, numerous times I wanted to throw my kindle at the wall because Gabriel was so frustrating to read but boy does he have a beautiful heart.
By the end of this book I was completely happy with how this story played out, every character added so much and I really do hope there will be more books to come. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book
