"I have read a few books from Lacey before, and after finishing this one I was reminded why I enjoy her stories so much. There is a prequel to this book that was so great to read & I do recommend that you do read that - but if whatever reason you can't or don't, it will not hinder your enjoyment of this book at all.
I just adore small town romance novels, they are absolutely one of my favorites to read. The whole knowing everyone's business is both charming and frightful at the same time and usually comes along with some laughs as well. Without giving the whole storyline away, Blair finds herself back in her hometown to fill in for her father for a period of time. Gabe happens to work there as well, and also is her best friend's brother to boot - so many tropes to love right here. Add in the great storytelling, the magnificent supporting characters and this book was hard to put down - in fact I read it in one sitting. Adulting be damned!!
