Release Blitz: One Taste of Crazy by Amanda Siegrist
Title: One Taste of Crazy
Series: A One Taste Novel
Author: Amanda Siegrist
Genre: Romance Suspense
Release Date: July 28, 2017
When it comes to women, shy and awkward are Detective Sauer’s middle name. And, well, the woman he wants to ask out is the exact opposite—loud and crazy. He can’t seem to form coherent words when Dee’s near. The minute she’s attacked, evidence connecting it to one of his murder cases, his shyness slowly starts to dissipate. Nothing will stop him from protecting her. Except maybe Dee herself.
Dee O’Malley isn’t naïve to think she’ll ever find love. Men never stick around. Ever. Not even a relationship with sweet, shy Sauer would last. But it’s oh so tempting to start one, especially when his kisses insist it’s possible. That doesn’t mean his kisses will stop her from finding the bastard who attacked her, something that riles him up. Besides, he’s adorable when he gets upset. And she can’t resist that.
❤ Warning: This novel contains a sexy detective. There is insta-love. But it’s book three so you probably know that already if you read the first two. *wink* Happy reading! ❤
Note: Each book can be read as a standalone.
Dee smiled, the sleepiness still evident in her eyes as she brushed her hair back from her face. “Is something wrong?”
“Nope.” He shook his head. No way in hell he was going to share his feelings. A guy could only handle rejection so many times. “I’m making breakfast.”
Her brow rose. “I know. I could smell the bacon.”
“Right. I didn’t mean to wake you up yet.”
Oh God. He couldn’t handle it. He was reverting to his shy, awkward self. He had no idea what to say to her, so he did the only thing he could think of. Turned back toward the stove and poured the egg mixture into the pan sitting on the front left burner.
“You sure you’re okay, Sauer?”
He flashed a smile. “I’m good.” He started to spoon the eggs around. He should pop some toast in, too. Did she like toast? All he had to do was ask.
Not exactly tension, but something stretched between them in the kitchen. He was afraid to turn around and ask her even a simple question, like, did she want some toast.
He shivered as a pair of arms circled his waist. She rested her head against his back.
“What’s the matter? You’re barely talking to me.”
“I apologize.”
She chuckled. “I am not mad you made bacon. I love bacon.”
He set the spoon down and turned around. Her arms fell away and she took a step back. “I was talking about last night.”
“You didn’t do anything wrong.”
“I…the bed…naked…” He ran a hand over his face as he managed to take a deep breath. Now wasn’t the time to stumble over his words.
Her soft fingers brushed his cheek. “I should thank you for last night. I needed that. This morning, I feel rejuvenated. Let’s find this bastard. Nobody attacks me and gets away with it.”
His jaw clenched. “I will find this bastard. Not you.”
“Whatever.”
“You’ll listen to me, Dee.” He took a step closer, a breath away. “I don’t want to see you get hurt. Let me do my job.”
She bit her lip as a sneaky grin emerged. “Every time it comes to your job, you get so dominant and assertive. Then, in the next breath, so shy. You are a very complex man.”
“No. I’m pretty simple. I’m good at my job. You leave this to me.”
Her lips brushed his. “I never listen well.” She laughed as she backed away. “You’re cute when you get upset.”
He groaned and turned back to the eggs. She was going to be the death of him. Some man, most likely the killer he was looking for, attacked her, and she wanted to argue with him about who would catch him. Why did every little thing about her make him like her more? Even when she was annoying the hell out of him.

I love anything that has to do with romance. As long as there’s a happy ending, I’m a happy camper. I love baseball (Go Twins!) and creating awesome crafts. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, working in that field for several years before I became a stay-at-home mom. When I’m not hanging out with my wonderful family, I’m writing a sweet contemporary romance or a romantic suspense that keeps you guessing until the end. I have a few more amazing stories in the works. If you would like to connect with me or see important news, head to my website at http://www.amandasiegrist.com.
