JC Carter is a new to me author and if I stalked her correctly, she is a relatively new author in general. If that is the case, I have to say it was a little bit obvious at times, but I want to add in no way do I meant that in a bad way. She is definitely in the correct career, I just thought at times the story wasn’t probably quite as polished as more seasoned authors. The writing was great, the two main characters Anna & Blake were definitely written true to their age group and the storyline was very realistic.
To be honest I really did devour the book in one sitting and I would definitely read more from this author in the future and see her hone her craft as I think she has the beginnings of something special.
