This is my first from this author. I liked the storyline, it was gripping, intense, filled with secrets and lies. I am curious to see what comes next.
Beck was exactly what you would think, strong, full of himself, and a little broken too. I wanted to like Josie, and for a bit I did, but I couldn't get over her wavering when it comes to Beck. She tells herself that he's trouble, a liar and no good, vows to stand up to him and stay away but the second he's near, she becomes a spineless jellyfish. I would have liked if she had a bit more resolve when it came to him, a little more backbone.
