Release Blast - JOCK ROYAL by Sara Ney

Release Date: June 24

IT’S EASY TO TAKE ONE DARE WHEN YOU THINK IT’S HARMLESS.

Ashley Dryden-Jones is the best rugby player on the field—when I take a dare I instantly regret, I had no way of knowing he was a gentleman. An athlete. British with no plans to stay in the States.

He makes me forget myself, bruises, 5 o’clock shadow, accent and all.

He makes me forget I cannot crawl into bed with him at night—or get drunk and throw caution to the wind for once in my overly cautious life.

Because he’s my new roommate.

ONE STUPID BET LEADS TO ONE UNFORGETTABLE NIGHT.

When I win a trip to Vegas I need a plus one; he’s the strapping, strong and responsible choice. Besides—I’ve never been anywhere and he has.

He is the best friend I didn’t know I needed.

Ashley is one of the good ones—but I’m about to find out how bad this good boy can be.

What a wonderful slow burn story full of so much angst you won’t want their story to end.

Forced to transfer to a new college, Georgia is having a hard time with new friends and her new team mates. Ashley, the sexy British Ruby player has now idea how is life is going to change when he offers to be Georgia’s roommate, let the push and pull begin.

Their story is sexy, funny, angst filled with lots of fantastic characters. Another fabulous sports romance from one of my go to authors Sarah Ney.

Sara is one of my very favorite authors. I haven’t read a book of hers that I haven’t enjoyed and Jock Royal keeps that streak happening.
As an Australian I am exposed to both British and American slang, probably more emphasis on the British though. So I was almost giddy reading Ashley and Georgia with their banter and misunderstandings with what the other was saying. This alone made the book an absolute page turner but when you add in the awesomeness that is both Ashley and Georgia, well not to be cliche, I would have to say that Jock Royal is now one of my favorite books from Sara.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.
