This is the first I've read from this author. The pace is quick, the action is constant, and there's enough angst and intrigue to keep you on the edge of your seat throughout. I couldn't put it down and read it in one sitting, the story definitely sucks you in from the first page.
Ace is essentially a loner, she knows what she wants and has a plan in place to get it. Even a few curve balls can't derail her plan, it's taken her too long to finally be in a position to execute it.
Kingston is now the head of his family and exudes the dark persona that should make you shiver in warning to keep your distance, but on the flip side, that he doesn't show many, he has enough charisma to pull you in. The chemistry between King and Ace is palpable.
I cannot wait to get my hands on Dark King to see where the story goes from here.
